Today I had some time to kill. I was picking up my mom from work at 7:15, but it was only 6:30. I ended up going into some outlet stores. First I went into Aldo. Lately I've been thinking I should get some REAL new shoes, not shoes from a thrift store. I walked around, perusing. I hate going into stores where retail people are lurking. I don't want to have to talk to anyone. The guy in Aldo was okay though. He said hello. Then he said "just hangin out?" I said "yeah, actually I'm kind of killing time right now." He said "cool. Hey, that's what I'm doing too." I said "you're getting paid, though." Not too bad. There weren't any shoes of interest, and I left.
Next I went into American Eagle. I walked around, avoiding people, and realized I was not interested in anything they had. I decided I'd brave Bath and Body Works and see if I could get excited by some lip gloss. Indeed I could. Buy two, get one free. I picked up fruit punch, whipped vanilla, and blueberry preserves. No one bothered me. The lady who checked me out asked for my phone number. I said "no thanks." Then she asked for my email. I gave her the same reply. Nice!
